highway=living_street and maxspeed most of the time invalid

Description

The Josm validator should warn about highway=living_street + maxspeed. In nearly all jurisdications the speed is fixed for living_steets or even undefined to a non numeric value (e.g. Germany -> Walking Speed). So any value in maxspeed in Germany is broken.

living_street and maxspeed is used different in different countries. It is not yet possible to limit validator rules to specific countries.

Status: new → closed

For Germany this is now part of Germany specific Rules. You can install it in JOSM via the validator preferences.

as The resolution will be set.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.
