House number tagging tool 31772 forgets entries if user specfies values different to the suggested ones in addr:street

If the user gives an addr:street name different to the "guessed" value of the house number tagging tool and presses enter, the tagging tool is not updating the data base with the user specified value, but leaves the addr:street tag unspecified. This occurs not every time but about every third time.

This leads to the quite odd situation, that after using the tagging tool, each entry has to be checked again, whether it is existing or not. Rendering the tagging tool unusable.

I've run some tests, but I can't figure out the error. Furthermore I have made extensive changes in version 35509, so hopefully the error will not occur again.
