What steps will reproduce the problem?
- create line
- tag it as waterway=drain
- tag it as intermittent=yes
What is the expected result?
Way appearance changes in step 3
What happens instead?

This tag is widely used (http://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/tags/intermittent=yes - over 1M times) and supported by some data consumers. For example default map style is rendering this tag - see https://github.com/gravitystorm/openstreetmap-carto/pull/1000
