Using Terracer with fresh copy of JOSM causes crash

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Shift-T having selected a semi-detached building
2. Set for 2 houses, create relation + remove outline (thought i had selected latter)
3. Press 'OK'

What is the expected result?

Set of semi-detached houses

What happens instead?

Kaboom! All fall down.

Important extra

I had re-started JOSM immediately before this crash
