Description

Josm should better use natural=water + water=river for mapping a riverbank.
And for reservoir JOSM is using the deprecated tag natural=reservoir, and not the tagging natural=water + water=reservoir

JOSM should use only the tagging from ​natural=water
Ad finaly JOSM should display the natural=reservoir in the validator

JOSM has preset and mappaint support for the natural=water + water=* tagging shema

And for reservoir JOSM is using the deprecated tag natural=reservoir, and not the tagging natural=water + water=reservoir

JOSM should use only the tagging from ​natural=water

JOSM doesn't use natural=reservoir. If you mean landuse=reservoir the wiki page states, that it is not deprecated.

So wontfix for now.
