Description
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- create a node
- add "landuse=quarry" to it - you will immediatelly see that the node symbol turns into a yellow square warning symbol
- validate this
What is the expected result?
To not warn as using landuse=quarry on a node is correct - http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:landuse%3Dquarry
What happens instead?
JOSM displays this yellow/red sign instead of the usual node icon and validates to the warning: "landuse=quarry used on a node. Should be drawn as an area. (1)"

"big area feature" - today I came up to a marble quarry with 20 meters in diameter. I think that is a tiny quarry and would justify using landuse=quarry for a node. Just my 2 cents.

Why not map it as an area? We map much smaller things as areas: garages, ponds, bicycle parkings, playgrounds,...
A quarry is a big area feature and should be mapped as area and not as node. All
landuse=*
and somenatural=*
are handled this way in JOSM.There are a lot quarry nodes, but most of them are a result of imports in the USA.
