Way align marks stays after swich from Alignways mode

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. I turn on Align Ways mode (Shift+N)
2. Select some ways and align them
3. Switch back to select mode (S) or draw nodes (A).

What is the expected result?

Highlights made by selection in Align ways should be cleared

What happens instead?

Ways, highlighted by selection in Align ways stays visible and cover other highlights (when select nodes or ways). Even I try to deselect ways in Align Ways mode, nothing happens with highlights.
