startup delay tens of seconds when some server unreachable

For some days now, every time I start Josm, it halts for like ten or more seconds and then suggest I might need to change proxy settings because it couldn't retrieve some image files which the plugin tried to access. For the user, the delay is unnecessary, and the error message is wrong. If a plugin can't retrieve images, it should silently fail and notify the user in a more unobtrusive way.

Do you use any not default settings? Maybe you add some url into "Menu 3D > Models Library"?
