Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Edited buildings I own
  2. Want to upload the changes, filed change report (source data etc)
  3. Popup: you have to login

What is the expected result?

I just wanted to update some building information

What happens instead?

I didn't expect a login, I cannot find how to login, there is nothing in the help file on login. I don't know what to do!

This is not the correct place to find help for beginners, you should instead go to http://learnosm.org or follow the Beginners' guide

Logins between JOSM page and OSM are often mixed up.

A help button for the login window is useful and it probably needs only some restructure of the wiki (e.g. move some contents from "preferences" to a new page under "dialog").
