Description
I tried to trace from 2014 20 cm orthophotos of surveying office of State of Berlin (full list of Berlin's WMS services)
Do following steps to reproduce the strange behaviour
- Set EPSG:3068 as coordinate system (Delete all data layers before doing this to avoid the exception I reported in Ticket 10635)
- Download data.
- After having downloaded the data, you might notice a shift of the hatching (the hatching of the area outside bounding box) to south! It reoccurs every time you switch back to JOSM window from another window)
- Move a node or add a tag to a node.
- Undo this by Ctrl+Z or the icon in icon bar.
The node moves about 190 m to south and 100 m to west. It is not clickable any more. If you now switch back to Merkator projection, everything is fine if the node was member of a way.
This behaviour does not occur with EPSG:25833. (The WMS services of State of Berlin support this EPSG type, too.) It looks like a calculating bug related to the Soldner projection an antecessor of Gauß-Krüger projection being used in Germany for cadastre surveys until mid of 20th century (and State of Berlin until today).
If you want to do a quick and dirty patch, just show a warning if a user chooses EPSG:3068 and suggest him to use other projections if possible. Berlin's WMS services offer EPSG:25833 and EPSG:25832, too.

The plugin has been deprecated, most of its projections are now in JOSM core.

strange behaviour if moving a node with EPSG:3068 and undoing this
