Strange Text all over display

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Load an area with many paths or roads, and JOSM leaves text artifacts all over the page
2. N/A

What is the expected result?
There shouldn't be street names randomally displayed on the screen (See attached screenshot)

What happens instead?
