Panning map irregularly reverts back to previous position

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Have map displayed on screen. Map style is not important.
2. Press ESC
3. Right click mouse, drag map. Repeat. On the clicking of the mouse the map may revert back to its position at the beginning of step 3.

This does not happen every time but happens a good 50% of the time.

What happens instead?

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

Cannot reproduce. Can you try with a fresh profile and no plugins?

The same happens with me from time to time, though not so often. I think it might be memory related as it seems to increase when many objects, large area, etc are loaded. Also related the "right click move" seems to stick. I have previously discarded this as a "two finger touch on touchpad" event. Can't remember seeing this when I have used mouse.

I only use the mouse.
I thought also that it could have been memory related.

I will do some more experimenting whilst noticing how many objects are displayed.

How do I create a fresh profile?

You can simply rename %APPDATA%\JOSM directory to %APPDATA%\JOSM.bak and start JOSM. Then rename it back to JOSM to restore your profile.
