JOSM drains cpu time on OSX

Description

On OSX JOSM uses a lot of cpu time. Even in idle it using a lot of cpu time and drains power. To reproduce I tried it on a freshly installed OSX 10.9.4 with Java 8 Update 11.

This is a known limitation of Oracle's current implementation on OSX.
They are working on it, each version improves the situation. Next version is 8u20 planned in August.
