problem with displaying .svg

JOSM is not able to display this ​.svg icon if used as icon in mappaint style or for a preset. Is this a JOSM bug or a problem with the .svg file?

Sorry, forgot about the problems with libsalamander. Its development is not that active atm.

Maybe #8889 or a different problem.

Yes, svg support is somewhat limited. You can try to convert the image back and forth or identify the missing feature and work around it... Or simply use png in this case.

Thanks. Simply copy the data in inkscape into a fresh new document and safe it did work for me.

Can you attach the new (working) document? We should look at the differences and report the bug to SVG Salamander bugtracker.

original file (not displayed in JOSM): TheresaKnott_handbag.svg (downloaded from ​here)
in JOSM working file: TheresaKnott_handbag_works_with_JOSM.svg (copied data in a new inkscsape document, resized page dimension to data and saved)

I just noticed that Firefox shows both files by default in different sizes, although both files have the same page size and are also shown at the same size in inkview. I don't know whats wrong there again ;) I don't know much about svgs.
