Split way sometimes does not work

Description

Load attached file, select the node with tag split=here and press "p" to try to split the way using this node. JOSM says the node is not in the middle of the way. The node is the first and fourth node of the way, so the way can be split when getting it as fourth node (which is in the middle of the way), but JOSM fails to notice that.
