Sub-layers of data

It would be a nice thing to be able to show/hide some data from osm.

For example, I suggest such sub-layers :

  • Highways/Railways/Paths...
  • Buildings (including the ones with POIs)
  • Nodes POI
  • Adm. boundaries
  • Land uses
  • Other (everything remaining)

This can already be achieved with filters.

I have looked everywhere in JOSM, but I haven't found any kind of filters, even using plugins.

Can I have an hint, where can I find filters ?
