Backup of plugins after JOSM updating

Scenario:
I update JOSM to the newest version from http://josm.openstreetmap.de/josm-latest.jar. At start, JOSM asks me about update plugins. I agree for that. Sometimes, it ocurres that JOSM is no working correctly and I would like go back to the previous, well-working version. Unfortunately I can't, because the new JOSM updated my plugins and the new plugins refuse to work with the old version of JOSM.

My proposition: new version of JOSM, before updatind the plugins, could copy the content of directory .josm/plugins/ to .josm/plugins-{revision}/ (e.g. .josm/plugins-2578/) Thanks to this, if I want go back to previous version of the program, I would have stored backup of the plugins.
The additional feature could be checking at start of JOSM, if there exists directory .josm/plugins-{revision} and loading plugins from it.

Already fixed: Do a plugin update with you old version and you get back working plugins for this version.
