unable to upload data

Description

Every time i go to upload any data, it comes up with you need to login, so i put my username and password in (i realise it is case sensitive and have made sure it is all in the right case) I have made sure it is also correct in preferences.I also tried logging in with my partners details, still with no success, which is weird because it would 2 weeks ago. After I type in my username and password, i click login and the same box appears.

ok. so i created another user on my laptop, and added JOSM again. when i did that, and signed in, it worked. i managed to get the uploads from last week on to be rendered. So, it must be something to do with home\.josm ol home\java

Probably you enabled proxy settings or something alike. Have a look in the preferences file and see if some settings look strange there. What version do you use?

This was fixed by running JOSM under a different Linux user. Chances are deleting ~/.java (or similar, I've not looked at what exists) will fix it.
