I tried to import a map in JOSM, but I always fail with message "Keine Daten importiert". When trying to import Tracks (.gpx files), it works, but finaly it seems that they are completely empty; Map screen remains black.
Note: I have no problems working with potlach editor.
System: windows VISTA
Version: JOSM-tested

Could you attach a sample file to reproduce your problem? In general import feature works out quite well.

How do you try to import data?

When using the interactive map you need to draw a box around the area you want to load.

Drawing the box around the area is the solution. It works fine now.
