Description

On startup the content of the clipboard on X11 is replaced by the text on the welcome screen / MOTD, thereby overwriting any URL previously copied from a webbrowser for pasting into the download box.

Version: SVN from 2009-02-03

This seems to have been introduced in the past few days or weeks, as the last build of JOSM I made (don't know when exactly) didn't have the bug.
