Description

I'm missing a jump-to function.

  • Click on Coordinates (lower left of the JOSM window)
  • Dialog Opens, that asks for Decimal Coordinates or DMS coordinate.
  • hit okay, osm jumps to this selection, if zoom level is currently really low, maybe it should be set to something around 1km scale, otherwise, zoom level shall not be changed
  • user now can decide to download the data, download Landsat imagery and so on ...

What is a real use case for this?

BTW: You can do that using the coordinate entry in the download dialog.

It's always usefull .. for example when discussion with an other OSM contributor "have a look at x / y ... etc." or anytime you just want to check something, that is maybe already loaded. in the download dialog you always have to enter a bounding box?
