Hi,

I'd like to paste the (complex) properties from one track to similar ones. Could someone implement such a function (just like transfering formats in word by brush) in JOSM?

You can already reach this.

Select both tracks. Now you can modify the tags of both ways and set them to the specified values of the way you want to copy from.

A patch in newest version also prevents to add the old way as changed object.

Thought I agree, that current tag editing is a bit overcomplicated.
