gpx file can't be read (expected Element)

Hello, I've got this error :

Error while parsing caen-rouen-cut.gpx: expected Element

when I try to load a gpx file exported from SportTracks (1.3.2454.29999).
data comes from a garmin forerunner 305

because errors when trying to upload an example file, I tried to cut it and paste as comment. And I found the problem : kwrite or emacs show on first line :

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

the weird thing is that vim hide the problem :

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
