5 Synchronizes the timing of audio playback with an Audio Marker.
5Synchronizes Audio provides one way to [wiki:Help/AudioMapping/Synchronization synchronize] audio playback (the position of the play head) at the Audio Marker where you started playing.

7 You need to previously have associated a WAV file with a Marker Layer, either using [wiki:Help/Action/ApplyAudio Apply Audio] for a Marker Layer derived from GPS waypoints or [wiki:Help/Action/MakeSampledAudioMarkerLayer Make Sampled Audio Marker Layer] for a Marker Layer derived from artificially sampled points along a GPS track. You will also have provided an audio cue ("NOW!") on the sound track which was made at the same time as one of the waypoints.
7You need to previously have [wiki:Help/Action/ImportAudio imported] a WAV file to make a Marker Layer. You will also have provided an audio cue ("NOW!") on the sound track which was made at the same time as one of the waypoints.

9 Play the audio from the Marker (by clicking its icon) at which the cue was made. [wiki:Help/Action/PlayPause Pause] playback when you hear the cue. If your recorder was started after the GPS track, you may need to [wiki:Help/Action/JumpBack rewind] (don't play from a previous marker, or that would synchronize to that marker instead), and then choose Synchronize Audio to align the audio where it is paused with the position on the GPS track.
9See method 2 of [wiki:Help/AudioMapping/Synchronization audio synchronization] for details of the procedure.
