Layer > Rename Layer

source:trunk/resources/images/dialogs/edit.svg Choose a new name for the layer in the source:trunk/resources/images/dialogs/layerlist.svg Layer List Dialog.

If the contents of the layer were derived, directly or indirectly, from a file, you can also choose to check a box to correspondingly rename the file on disk at the same time.
