- sorry, do not know which component:
this caught my attention : http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/way/222036833
- it is absolutely correct that it is not a bridge. In some cases it may be even worth to be recorded. But it is highly misleading to display "Highways/Streest/bridge".
Not sure if the validator could do something clever about bridge=no? It is probably pointless for ways longer than 5 nodes or highways with surface ground. It does not harm anybody but I would not like the whole planet tagged like that:)
