regression: after selection with relation manager - no zoom to selection

I do not know when this regression was introduced but it used to work.

1. open the relation dialogue and a member object to the selection list.
2. object is selected and in the selection toggle dialogue
3. Move mouse out of the relation dialogue and hit "3" (zoom to selection)

no zoom ! only after selecting the objects again through selection toggle dialogue I am able to zoom.
