Strange behaviour when adding WMS layers and closing preferences using the close window button. — at Version 1

To reproduce:
Click edit
Click preferences
Click TMS, WMS
Select any new imagery in the lower area
Click "Copy selected default(s)"
Check it appears in the layer presents
Close using the close window in the title bar (not using OK or cancel)
Click edit
Click preferences
Click TMS, WMS
Check newly added layer appears in the layer presents (This confirms it has been set, but arguably it should not be set at all.)
Close using the close window in the title bar (not using OK or cancel)
Restart JOSM
Click edit
Click preferences
Click TMS, WMS
The added layer is not longer shown.
I would expect it to be shown because it seemed to be set in the preferences. Much the same behaviour occurs if cancel is pressed to close the preferences (rather than the close window button in the title bar).

Seems to be my bug
