Description (last modified by )
If you have a straight way of 3 nodes and hit shift-Y, the center node sometimes remains. With more complicated ways, it seems that the second node sometimes stays whether or not it's important to the shape.

i can reproduce this, but only for very low zoom level (30 km or more):
- create a new empty layer
- zoom out to 40,000 m (Ctrl+G, Zoom: 40,000)
- create a new way of 3 or more nodes
- select the way, and "Align Nodes in Line" (L)
- "Simplify Way" (Shift+Y)
expected result: all but the outer nodes get removed
what happens instead: no or only some of the inner nodes get removed
