Say we have 2 layers, 1 and above 2, If you filter some elements from layer 1, then change the active layer to 2, disable the filter (in the current view with layer 2 active), and then remove the layer 2, you will now have the view of layer 1 active but still without the filtered elements visible, even if the filter is deactivated and they should be shown.
