    1010d) The proposed changes sound great (especially if we can figure out why we get different behaviour for geotagged images). Opening last shown/first sounds great as well.

     12e) Session file with multiple image layers - there was recently work to make image viewer tabbed (for example, to switch in tabs between local & Mapillary images). Perhaps that can be used here? Although it would likely be a much bigger change, might be out of scope here.
