Error when trying to use the dowload button

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Click the download button

What is the expected result?

The download window should appear, letting you download the data in the area of interes.

What happens instead?

A window with the error appears and you cannot donwload the data.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible.

Data can be downloaded in JOSM when using the remote control function in openstreetmap.org and also using the remote control inside QGIS with the JOSM Remote button.
