crash when undoing changes while in extrude mode

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. load attached file
2. add node in the middle of the northern edge
3. press X to enable extrude mode
4. extrude rightmost part of the segment with the new node (keep mouse button pressed)
5. press undo two or more times while mouse is still pressed
6. release mouse button

What is the expected result?

not sure, probably unchanged dataset
