PBF/MVT toggle with no effect?

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Select a PBF imagery, for example ​https://openinframap.org/tiles/{zoom}/{x}/{y}.pbf
2. In the pop-up menu for the imagery layer, turn off some of the features (toggle entries in the menu).

What is the expected result?

I expected the deselected features not to show.

What happens instead?

No visible effect. Or maybe I have misunderstood what the toggle menu lines should do.

Anyway, for data heavy imagery like for example ​https://cache.kartverket.no/test/vectortiles/landtopo/{z}/{x}/{y}.mvt (Norway, zoom in) toggles are certainly needed. Also, for imagery like the Kartverket example a "toggle all features" menu item would be needed because it is very time consuming to turn off all features to get to the one feature which should be displayed.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible.
