Currently, the relations type route can nicely show when a route correctly loops. This is seen in the relation editor as a column. I added a screenshot of what I mean.
When the members are relations itself, the continuity is shown, but not as a loop.
It would be a 'nice to have' feature, if it's not too hard to code.
