     133. Omit rescaling via `ImageProvider.toBufferedImage` and `ImageProvider.createScaledImage`? When zapping through images, approx. 50% of heap allocations are due to `ImageIO.read()` and approx. 50% are due to `ImageProvider.toBufferedImage`/`ImageProvider.createScaledImage`.
