Maxar Standard Imagery - error downloading tiles

Reported by: abojarska@… Owned by: team

Component: External imagery source Version: latest

Description

Hi all,

I have an issue with downloading tiles of Maxar Standard Imagery into JOSM - I get an error "Error downloading tiles: INVALID CONNECT ID:apiKey_". Maxar Premium Imagery or Bing work fine.

I already updated my JOSM, deactivated the firewall, deinstall and install JOSM... unfortunately it didn't help. Any ideas what could cause the problem?

Best regards,
Anna

Thanks for your report, however your ticket is incomplete and therefore not helpful in its current form.

Please add all needed information according to this list:

  • The required parts of the Status Report from your JOSM.
  • Describe what behaviour you expected.
  • Describe what did happen instead.
  • Describe if and how the issue is reproducible.
  • Add any relevant information like error messages or screenshots.

To ensure that all technical relevant information is contained, create new tickets by clicking in JOSMs Main Menu on Helpsource:trunk/resources/images/bug.svg Report Bug.

Remember: This is a generic notice so we don't need to write the same stuff again and again. It may only apply in parts to the specific case!

For me it is the other way round. Maxar Standard works and Maxar Premium returns invalid connect id _apikey_. _apikey_ is not correctly replaced before the tile download.

What helped me yesterday was to go to "imagery preferences", delete the connection from the active imageries and add it once again from the list above. Maybe it could work for you as well.

Hi,
There is a Maxar imagery loading isssue in JOSM. This error is quite frequent. Error named "Error
downloading tiles:User null is not authorized to access /earthservice/tmsaccess resource" Please look into this matter ASAP.

@anonymous: This is due to Maxar revoking our imagery key. I don't know if we've gotten a new (working) one yet.

Whatever the issue currently is, it's on Maxar side and Maxar is already informed. Whether it's their plan to switch to another authentication system or something else is currently unclear.

Anyway this ticket isn't about the current situation and should have been closed a long time ago.
