Import Vector Dialog Hidden by Opening Files Dialog — at Initial Version

Description

  1. Start JOSM from the command line:

java -jar josm-latest.jar

  1. Accept any and all prompts that appear.
  2. Click File 🠚 Preferences.
  3. Click the plugin icon.
  4. Click Download to download a list of all plugins.
  5. Set Search to: vec
  6. Check importvec (see the plugin documentation).
  7. Click OK.

Import a vector graphic as follows:

  1. Click File 🠚 New Layer.
  2. Click File 🠚 Open.
  3. Browse to and select voronoi-cracks.svg.
  4. Click Open.

At this point, you may encounter a bug in JOSM whereby the Opening Files dialog hides the Import vector graphic dialog.

Continue as follows:

  1. Click × to close the dialog box.

Note: the Cancel button has no effect (a secondary bug).
