    1313Therefore I am also wondering if you are exposing those features through some command prompt tool i.e. a tool that uses your java classes but without using the GUI?
    1414If such a conversion (shapefile to osm xml, and preferably also to osm pbf) feature would be available to use as a java library, then maybe someone might reuse it for creating an osmosis plugin that can create mapsforge files directly from a shapefile.

     17I forgot to mention the version I am using: 16239
     18I also see there is a dropdown list here in the error report form with two options "latest" and "tested".
     19Well, I am using the latest/newest AND tested so it is not obvious for me which of those two options that is supposed to apply more than the other.
     20Quote from JOSM homepage with link to the download: "newest tested version, currently 16239"
     21(i.e. newest AND tested)
     22Also I do not understand why you want those options instead of a version number since the meaning of latest/newest will of course change with time...
