check for correct value of access

I found access:lanes:forward=yes|bicycle and similar tags lately, and was wandering that there is no check for correct access values.

Could we have a warning of incorrect access values, please. E.g. a check for access=* and checks for access:lanes[:forward][:backward]=*. Thanks
