    11The certificate for HTTPS is no longer needed. Modern browsers can access JOSM to localhost in HTTP, from an HTTPS website (mixed-content). I'd like to remove https support to simplify the whole experience but we've not reached consensus on this question.

    55My advice is to simply disable https support in remote control preferences.
