    44Closing; upon further searching; I had a file named 'ignorederrors' in my ~./local/share/JOSM/validator folder; once I deleted it; the validations worked as intended. I don't have any recollection of how that got there; any idea what caused it?!

    6 I also attempted to reimport my old preferences file but JOSM reported it as corrupt.
