    11Could you please also share a sample? The gpx track + a hundred of images. I don't have any similar data.

     3**EDIT:** forget it I have found an old data set with 175 images and I have no problem: JOSM consumes less than 600Mb and goes down to 200Mb when GC is trigerred.
