    1 Actually, I checked it and this kind of behaviour is acceptable. JOSM does not crash, the appropriate dialog is shown to the user, reporting that the query is invalid. This exception is just report using the build-in tools of JOSM. In my opinion it is fine. Would be nice to hear someone else about this. Some parts of JOSM behave the same.
