Blacklists-enforced censorship in the app is completely unacceptable!

Description

I have downloaded the app and then tried to plug there Google maps sattelite map as an underlay. I intended to use it as a lightweigh map viewer with POIs from osm (without any tracing of buildings, though IMHO traced buildings are completely legal anywhere if done manually and copying of the maps and pois themselves is even legal in jurisdictions without copyright on databases because sattelite images are by no mean a result of creative activity and that's why copyright can't be applied there), but ... I saw google maps in gray unchooseable.

First I thought that the URL was wtong and entered it into my phone. But when I realized it works fine on the phone I understood that you are doing censorship. A look into source code made it as clear as possible.

I WANNA SAY YOU THAT THIS KIND OF CENSORSHIP IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO CENSOR THE SERVICES A USER IS ALLOWED TO INTERACT. ANY BLACKLIST SHOULD NOT BE MANDATORY. WHY DO YOU MAKE YOUR FUCKING USERS TO REBUILD YOUR APP FROM SCRATCH AND TO MESS WITH ITS SOURCE CODE? WHAT IF A USER IS NOT EVEN A PROGRAMMER? WHAT IF A USER IS A PROGRAMMER BUT NOT A JAVA ONE? WHAT IF HE DOESN'T HAVE JAVA TOOLCHAIN AND DON'T WANT TO INSTALL IT? WHY THE F*CK DO YOU DISRESPECT THE USERS OF YOUR APP?

Your language is "completely unacceptable". You'll never reach anything with this behavior.

Google maps sattelite map as an underlay.

"without any tracing of buildings"

IIRC, Google doesn't permit usage of their imagery outside their products (Google earth or Google maps).

Similarly, they don't entourage you to disassemble their software.

THE SERVICES A USER IS ALLOWED TO INTERACT.

Ask Google if your're allowed to do what you intended to do.

I expect "NO!".

It's not josm trouble. Are you police? Are you google? Are you funded or governed by google? Are you blackmailed by google? Are you an US org afraid of well-funded money attrition lawsuit by google? Why the fuck do you think it is nice to behave like this? It is like browser vendor adds a blacklist of illegal websites (for example the ones prohibited in China or Russia) into own browser. Or it is like a torrent client adding a blacklist of torrents prohibited to be downloaded. Ore like an http server having built-in keyword blacklist. Who are you to decide what is allowed and what is not? Who have made such decision and how much of you really support them? So I think we need to find out, how much of developers really agree with censorship. We need a poll about removing this kind of shit from the software which is free de-jure only for now.

We should call black black.

For reference: See #9210. Blacklist is maintained by OSM, not JOSM since 2 years and restricted to OSM API since introduced 6 years ago.
