    1 In contrast to the map rendering (carto), for JOSM as editor colourful icons are better because they are fater to distinguish between each other and the background (which can be very different, while on a rendered map you have a limited color palette). See also ticket:11445#comment:8. For these 4 icons I don't see an improvement to the current ones.

    33If you like the osmic icons more, you can use the Osmic mappaint style, which replaces the JOSM icons by osmic icons.
