Add ways user selected and perform 'Zoom to Gap' in one go

While creating/correcting and updating route relations for all variations of public transport. One thing I find I'm doing over and over again, is select some ways, add them to the relation, (sometimes sort the selection, but more recently sort from that point forward, in case the ways were selected out of order), then 'Zoom to Gap' of the next continous stretch.

It would be exremely handy if those actions could be performed by clicking a single "Add+Sort+ZoomToGap" button of the relation editor.
