map symbols of an inactive (for editing) data layer have a black background (full rectangle) — at Version 1

Steps

  1. JOSM version 8102
  2. fresh josm profile
  3. download data
  4. download data into a new layer
  5. switch on a "mapnik" background layer

Expected

the inactive "data layer 1" has grey symbols with transparent background like it was in the josm versions before: In 7995 (the newest "tested") the symbols were grey with transparent background - like everything from the editing-inactive data layer.

Actual

symbols of "data layer 1" have a black background (full rectangle) which covers much of the layers below. Bigger black rectangles for "N" symbols (nodes with a "note" tag).
