#5717 closed enhancement (needinfo)
Retry loading tiles
Reported by: | Owned by: | ||

Priority: | normal | Milestone: | 15.05 |
Component: | Core imagery | Version: | tested |

Description (last modified by )
If I draw the image with the mouse, the osm-map is sometimes loaded and sometimes not, so some or all tiles in the background-layer are missed.
If I want to download data, the image in the interactive map shows the same behavior.
The bing-layer works well.
Plugins slippimap and tms are not selected.
(Plugin imagery is not available in Combobox "Component")

It more looks like a bug in the OSM tileserver. Maybe, the JOSM tries to fetch tiles too quick and server ignores some requests. It seems like with the sharpen feature the loading goes slower and the server catches all requests.

Currently tile loading is handled by jmapviewer, so it makes sense to improve the tile loading algorithm after integrating the imagery plugin.

I'm closing this, as no details from user. I consider, that the bug is fixed.
I activated option "sharpen" to "strong". Since then the bug didn't happen again.
