InfoMode Plugin Uses Wrong Units for Measuring Distances

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Launch JOSM
  2. Go to the Preferences dialog
  3. Go to the Map Settings pane
  4. Change the System of measurement to Imperial
  5. Go to the plugins pane
  6. Install the InfoMode plugin described at https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/JOSM/Plugins/InfoMode
  7. Open a GPX track
  8. Enable InfoMode
  9. Hover the mouse cursor over a point in the GPX track

You will see a speed described in kilometers per hour rather than miles per hour.
